David Blanasi was one of Australia’s most talented and renowned didgeridoo virtuoso players. Subsequent to the recording he made an LP of his music for an ethnomusicologist associated with the University of Central Queensland.
Tape contains assorted talk and performance.
“We used to play didgeridoo every day and my father (Mielli Tribe) used to say: “Don’t humbug!” as I went down to the billabong and mimicked all the animals, birds and dogs.” (Blanasi)
