Edgar was a noted historian of the pioneer coal mining industry in Australia. He was also a committed socialist and were communicated after I had produced the first Larrikin record ‘Man of the Earth’ which was a tribute to the mining industry through song. He was recommended to me by Jock Graham (see AFU collection).
